Also known as the silken pincushion cactus, this low-maintenance flowering variety is native to the Jalisco and Aguascalientes states in western central Mexico. With proper care, it will produce a prolific bloom of hot pink flowers in the spring. In the wild, Mammillaria bombycina is considered vulnerable due to illegal collecting; our specimens are cultivated from seed by our partners in California. Decorative ceramic pot sold separately.
